Roman Blinds
Roman blinds are a stylish, space-saving alternative to curtains, folding into soft pleats when raised. They use less fabric, making them a more economical option, and can be fitted inside or outside the window recess. Made to measure, they can include interlining for insulation, blackout lining for bedrooms and trims to compliment the rest of your room. Hand-stitched for a seamless finish, my blinds are fitted with modern chain-operated headrails available in various colour finishes. Where blinds are fitted outside the recess I can add side returns or a pelmet in the same fabric to cover the mechanism.
Roman Blind
A standard Roman blind has straight, even folds creating a structured look. Both standard and relaxed Roman blinds can be “stacked” or “waterfall”. The stacked option means each fold is the same size, so that all the folds are level when the blind is pulled up. The waterfall option means each fold is a little longer than the last to create a staggered effect.
Relaxed Roman Blind
Relaxed Roman blinds feature soft, draped folds, often with a slight swag in the centre giving a more casual and less structured appearance. Both blind styles work equally well with sheer fabrics which look great in bathrooms where privacy is required without blocking out natural light.
